Hi, I'm Laurali! I live in a tiny, seaside fishing village in Florida where I nurture my plants, go hiking in the woodland, and wear flowers in my hair.

What is a Walking Meditation?

A walking meditation is as simple as going into nature solo and instantly feeling yourself connect to earth's energy, your higher self, and if you get really good at it, the fairy realm!

While in nature, your body instantly adjusts to the signal of earth's grounded, fiery energy.  This groundedness makes you whole and complete.  By the end of your walking meditation in nature, you'll have an overall feeling of well-being.

In order to get into the meditation, there really isn't much you have to do.  I definitely recommend taking a walk alone for this, in order to get the full experience!

The more you walk, the more connected you'll feel.  To enhance the walking meditation, spend some time laying your hands on trees or walking barefoot in a safe spot.  This will help elevate your meditation even higher!

Walking With the Fairies

You really want to have a great nature experience, trust your gut when it says to pick up that piece of trash you passed by and throw it away.  Even if it's yucky and out of your way.  That gut instinct is the fairies.  Trust it and follow it!

Straight up ask the fairies to make your experience better, but be prepared to have them ask you to do something for them first.  Again, it could be picking up trash or something better.

Either way, do it!  The fairies will show you all the secret meadows and places in the park rarely seen by other visitors.

The fairies will also get you into the flow of your walk.  They have the ability to help you forget about all that human stuff, like time and obligations, if that's what you're needing.

The fairies will let you know that they are with you.  They will leave you signs of land, so to speak, so that you'll know you're that much closer to them.

Signs From Fairies (Signs of Land and Life):
  • Painted rocks
  • Toy Dinosaurs
  • Book pages
  • Small stuffed animals
  • Gemstones
  • Rare plants
  • Animals that you rarely get to see in person
  • Mushrooms and fairy rings
  • Jewelry
  • Notes
I've found most, if not all, of these things at different points in my life as a hiker.  It's the coolest thing in the world to get a sign from the fairies.  It makes you feel special.

Once you've made that kind of connection, each nature hiking meditation will only grow stronger, larger.  Happy hiking and be safe out there, friends!
