A Nude Waterfall Photoshoot: Feel Comfortable in Your Own Skin Challenge

I'm doing a nude waterfall photoshoot to feel comfortable in your own skin challenge for the summer of 2020!  This is something I've been secretly wanting to do to really embrace my body by taking my workouts to the next level.

For the past couple of years, I've had this brilliant idea of doing a naked photoshoot near a waterfall in mother nature.  Somewhere where there's seclusion and I could really enjoy the fun of skinny dipping.

Right now, I'm on the hunt for the perfect waterfall.  I have a feeling it's going to be somewhere in Tennessee since Florida doesn't have mountains or waterfalls.  We do have some beautiful crystal springs with manatees, but no waterfalls.

I've set my target goal of stripping down for the summer of 2020.  In case you were wondering, this is going to be a tasteful shoot that will most likely show the outline of my body more than actual body parts.

Without giving too many details away, I'm going to include some never before seen photographs in my subscription.  Sometimes, that might include artfully styled nude photographs that have been captured in the magic of nature.

I love this idea for so many reasons.  First, nature is raw and beautiful.  What a perfect backdrop to style pictures where I'm in the buff, in all my naturalness.

There's something really freeing taking all my clothes off in a wild nature photoshoot.  I love the thought of just letting all my inhibitions go and doing something I've never done before.

Some people like cliff diving, I like going sans clothing in mother nature.  I like the challenges I make to do things outside of my comfort zone.

What else do I hope to get out of this body confidence and self-love challenge?  Besides trying something new and challenging myself, I'm using it as a motivator to continue to work on getting in shape.

I find that if I have a hit goal, such as reaching a goal by a certain deadline or event, I'm much more likely to stick with it.  That's why I'm making my target the summer of 2020.  I figure summer is the best time to do a waterfall photoshoot, as well do some slow traveling to a new destination.

How do I plan on reaching this goal?  Since December, I've been working out by doing both vinyasa flow yoga and strength training.  I recently started doing Down Dog Barre, which is a combination of yoga, pilates, and ballet.

With just 20 minutes of Barre, I challenged my body in ways I never thought I could before.  I woke up the next day feeling sore all over, which means I stretched my body to new limits.

I have noticed a little bit of a lull with my workouts lately, which is the norm for the winter season of life.  I have this habit of feeling really motivated and then by the time my moon rolls around, my motivation starts dying off.

That's why I need a fun challenge like this!  I should also add that I also go hiking or take walks about five days a week too.  What I like about Barre is that it really focuses on small muscle movement.

It's an incredible workout that shows a significant difference in your body composition right away.  I love yoga because it looks deceptively easy, but don't let it fool you, it's a challenge!

In addition to that, I've been slowly working towards phasing processed foods out of my diet.  One of the reasons for this is that one of my goals for the 2020 decade is to go as waste-free as possible.

Right now, I'm still eating a lot of organic, vegan tv dinners that are wrapped in plastic and packaging.  I'm working toward steering myself toward a diet of whole, unprocessed foods that are package-free.

With my waterfall body challenge, this should really spark motivation toward my most ultimate goal!  I can begin to detox off of foods that are processed and wrapped in plastic.  I can steer myself toward a mostly raw vegan diet, which is healthier for me and better for the planet.

Also, the whole point of this challenge is to have more confidence in my body.  Why?  Because confidence is sexy!

When you feel comfortable in your own skin, you feel good about yourself.  Miracles just kind of naturally fall into your lap.  That's the beauty of loving the skin you're in!

I'm always looking for the next way I can challenge myself and this is a goal that I'm excited to have finally given myself the green light on.  While my readers and subscribers won't really see me fully nude, they will see how confident I can be with the outline of my body in artful photography.

I'll feel good about myself while taking the pictures.  Right now, I'm thinking of setting up the camera to do snapshot selfies, but if I find someone trustworthy to snap my photos, I'd be happy with that too.

For future photoshoots, I'm even thinking of traveling to new places and discovering secluded spots for more of these types of tasteful pictures.  I love a good photograph of a waterfall surrounded by majestic mountain peaks and an emerald green forest with lots of butterflies and wildlife imagery all around to paint a picture.

I love the thought of leaving something to the imagination and shifting the focus off of the nudity to the serene beauty and crystal waters all around me.  I'll be in the dark shadow lighting of the secret, hidden places of the forest and in dark waters with white foam.

If you'd like to get comfortable in your own skin and make peace with your inner mermaid, join me in my challenge this summer!  Make it a goal to do something you've never dared before and to challenge yourself in new and exciting ways.

By doing so, you open yourself up to the possibilities.  You'll walk away with newfound confidence and inner beauty you never knew you had before.
